Our company’s internet security practitioners, policy developers and secure infrastructure designers effectively assist in addressing the on-going security issues facing an organization from both the public internet and internal operational systems. All engagements with J.B. MacLean Consulting Inc. provide clients with a full and detailed network security and vulnerability assessment. The assessment involves the analysis of both internal and external networks, all associated access points, and internal operational systems. Upon full completion of this assessment, we offer client(s) with a detailed vulnerability report, repair estimate, and policy review project proposal to assist with design and implementation issues for future requirements.
This document defines “what is,” and “what is not” in the scope of the proposed network security and vulnerability assessment engagement. It also assists our organization to identify any future projects relating to RSA secure technologies, intrusion detection, voice-over internet protocol (VoIP), wireless LAN implementations, business continuity, disaster recovery planning and all levels of internal security matters.
We chose the term “Trust” in our professional practice carefully because it is the real essence of relationships in the networked world. Security is primarily defensive and looking inward and Control is a process to achieve it. Trust is an on-going interaction that establishes and maintains mutual confidence among many entities. All organizations require security and control, but our philosophy extends beyond that. It can depend on technology and protective mechanisms, but not solely. It involves a high level of professionalism, reputation, contracts, law, openness, familiarity, fair business, ethics, quality, timeliness, and a host of other characteristics that build the foundation for a successful business relationship complimentary to both parties.
